MRP (Maximum Retail Price) is the highest price a product can legally be sold at, printed on the packaging. Anyone charging above MRP is breaking the rules; anyone selling suspiciously far below MRP is worth a second look: deep-discount “originals” on marketplace sites are where counterfeits live.
BYOUT’s position: we sell at MRP. We don’t do fake-discount pricing where the “original price” was invented so the sale price looks generous. If something costs Rs. 2,400, it costs Rs. 2,400.
